Effective date: October 25, 2026. These terms govern your use of the SAVON app for Android and the savon.cloud website. By installing or using SAVON, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
1. What SAVON is
SAVON is a free utility app that turns a paper prescription into medicine reminders: it scans a prescription photograph, proposes a schedule, and fires alarms at the times you confirm. It is published by AmarMeds HealthTech.
2. SAVON is not a medical service
SAVON is a reminder tool, not a medical device, pharmacy, or doctor. It does not diagnose, prescribe, or advise. Always:
- follow the instructions of your own doctor and pharmacist;
- read the leaflet supplied with each medicine;
- seek professional help for side effects, missed-dose questions, or any change in your condition.
Decisions about your treatment belong to you and your healthcare providers. SAVON's only job is to help the schedule your doctor gave you actually happen.
3. Prescription scanning: you verify, you decide
The scanner proposes medicine names, strengths, doses, and timings extracted from a photograph. Extraction can be wrong — handwriting varies, paper curls, ink fades. Every field is shown to you for confirmation before it is saved, and you are responsible for checking it. Never rely on an unverified schedule. If a scan misreads a prescription, correct it in the app before saving, and ask your doctor or pharmacist whenever anything is unclear.
4. License to use
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use SAVON on devices you own, free of charge, for non-commercial personal or family use. You may not copy (except for backup), modify, distribute, sell, or reverse-engineer the app, except where law forbids us from restricting you.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to use SAVON or this website to misrepresent medical information, to operate the app in a way that endangers others (for example, administering medicines to another person based on your own schedule without professional guidance), or to attempt to disrupt the website or misrepresent its download as coming from anywhere but savon.cloud.
6. Downloading and updating the app
The Android app is distributed as an APK from this official website. Android will ask you to allow installs from your browser the first time; grant that permission only to your browser and only from this site. Keep the app updated — reminder behavior and security fixes ship in new versions, and the release notes describe what changed.
7. Intellectual property
The SAVON name, logo, app, website, and their content are owned by AmarMeds HealthTech and its licensors and are protected by copyright and trademark law. These terms grant you no rights to them except the license in section 4.
8. Disclaimers
SAVON is provided "as is" and "as available", with all faults and without warranty of any kind. We do not warrant that alarms will fire in every conceivable phone state (battery death, force-stopped apps, or a factory reset are outside any app's control), that scanning will be accurate, or that the app will meet your specific needs. To the maximum extent permitted by law, all statutory warranties are excluded.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, AmarMeds HealthTech and its people will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including missed doses, health outcomes, lost data, or lost profits — arising from your use of, or inability to use, SAVON or this website. Because SAVON stores data only on your device, keeping your own backups of important prescription information is your responsibility.
10. Changes to the app or these terms
We may update the app and these terms over time. Material changes will be published here with a new effective date and noted on the What's new page. Continued use after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms. If a change is unacceptable to you, uninstalling the app ends your use and deletes its data from your device.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts located in Bangladesh will have jurisdiction over disputes, and we will always prefer an honest conversation over a legal one — write to us first.
